Job Description
The Chief Operating Officer will partner with the Managing Director and executive committee to translate strategic plans into coordinated operational execution across the Digital Business Unit. Responsibilities include overseeing performance management, portfolio governance, financial consolidation, and transformation initiatives to ensure profitable and compliant operations. The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, commercial acumen and fluency in digital technologies. Candidates should possess extensive senior‑level experience and relevant academic qualifications.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) with MBA/MSc/MA or professional certification preferred
- • Minimum 10 years of senior‑level leadership experience
- • Proven track record in strategic planning, performance management and financial oversight
- • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management
- • Digital and technology fluency with ability to engage engineering and data teams
- • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills

- • Translate DBU strategy into coordinated execution across functional teams
- • Define and monitor KPIs to improve business performance
- • Own the DBU performance framework and operating model effectiveness
- • Govern enterprise portfolio and investment decisions
- • Consolidate financial performance and ensure compliance
- • Provide transformation governance to drive profitable, agile operations
- • Lead cross‑functional teams and oversee multiple workstreams
- • Align finance, data, technology and customer‑experience functions with strategic goals
