Job Description
The Financial Controller will direct the company’s financial operations, overseeing accounting, budgeting, cash‑flow management and internal controls to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or Diploma in finance, accounting or a related field
- • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial control or accounting
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Process supplier invoices and petty‑cash vouchers accurately and timely
- • Record journal entries, fixed‑asset bookings, receipts and payments
- • Reconcile bank accounts daily and resolve outstanding items
- • Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts monthly and address discrepancies
- • Maintain a weekly cash‑flow report for planning and supplier payments
- • Keep the fixed‑asset register up to date
- • Verify that payments, amounts and records are correct
- • Process employee reimbursements
- • Perform regular reconciliations and ensure financial data integrity
