Job Description
The Gateway Acquiring Officer will oversee the operation and configuration of the organization’s payment solutions, ensuring smooth processing for both e‑commerce and point‑of‑sale channels. Key duties include identifying system errors, coordinating resolutions, monitoring performance, and maintaining compliance with PCI DSS standards. The role also supports merchants and drives the introduction of new features and enhancements. Candidates need strong analytical abilities and at least five years of relevant technology experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in technology solutioning and supporting financial digital products
- • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- • Ability to bridge technology and business requirements
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Identify system errors and bugs and coordinate resolutions with technical teams
- • Review and adjust system settings and permissions
- • Monitor DPO Pay system functionality and performance
- • Ensure proper configuration of the payment platform
- • Support adherence to PCI DSS procedures and guidelines
- • Provide technical support to merchants for e‑commerce and POS solutions
- • Facilitate the introduction of new features and system enhancements
- • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with operational needs
